TERMS OF SERVICE

// AGREEMENT

By downloading, installing, or using The Relay ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is provided by Cause Connect Pte. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

// LICENSE

The Relay is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your devices, subject to these terms. No account is created to use the App.

• >The Relay is one product: the Android app and the Mac app work as a pair and are covered by one subscription
• >Use of The Relay requires an active Google Play subscription, bought in the Android app, after the free trial
• >You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• >You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App

// SUBSCRIPTIONS, FREE TRIAL, AND REFUNDS

The Relay is offered as one subscription through Google Play, bought in the Android app, that covers both the Android app and the Mac app. Subscriptions are purchased, billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded through Google Play, under Google Play's terms and policies. We do not process payments and do not store payment information or purchase records on our servers.

• >New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel it in Google Play before the trial ends
• >The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period
• >Prices are shown in Google Play before you subscribe and may vary by country
• >Refund requests are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policies. Because we do not process payments, we cannot issue refunds ourselves

The Mac app has no separate charge; it works when paired with an Android phone that has an active trial or subscription.

// HOW THE APP WORKS

The Relay enables communication between your Android phone and Mac over your local Wi-Fi network, with Bluetooth as a fallback. Everything you share (clipboard, files, messages, notifications, calls, camera, screen) travels directly between your devices over encrypted connections. None of it passes through our servers.

The App requires:

• >A Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
• >An Android phone running Android 8.0 or later
• >Both devices on the same local network, or within Bluetooth range
• >The Android permissions needed for the features you use (for example, notification access for notification mirroring, or SMS access for one-time codes)

// PRIVACY

Your privacy is fundamental to how The Relay is built. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the content you transfer between your devices. Optional diagnostics in the Android app are off unless you turn them on. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

// DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

// LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cause Connect Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business.

// TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Cancelling or ending a subscription is done in Google Play. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies from your devices.

// CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will post material changes on this page and update the date above.

// GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
