TERMS OF SERVICE

// AGREEMENT

By downloading, installing, or using The Relay ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is provided by Cause Connect Pte. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

// LICENSE

The Relay is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your devices.

• >One license covers one user across their personal devices
• >The license is perpetual for the version purchased
• >You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• >You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App

// PURCHASES AND REFUNDS

The Relay is a one-time purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

If you are unsatisfied with the App, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@gettherelay.app. Refunds are issued at our discretion.

// HOW THE APP WORKS

The Relay enables communication between your Android phone and Mac over your local WiFi network. All data transfers (clipboard, files, notifications) happen directly between your devices using encrypted peer-to-peer connections. No data passes through our servers.

The App requires:

• >A Mac running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
• >An Android device running Android 10 or later
• >Both devices connected to the same WiFi network
• >Notification access permission on Android (for notification forwarding)

// PRIVACY

Your privacy is fundamental to how The Relay is built. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the content you transfer between your devices. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

// DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

// LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cause Connect Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business.

// TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies from your devices.

// CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.

// GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
